I think the sound quality of the preamp is really good. It uses top 
quality components to ensure the analogue RIAA equalisation is 
implemented without destroying the linearity and without pumping noise 
floor.

You can put the sound card in a bypass mode which allows you to do phono 
through, which is a bonus.
