Sure did, I wasn't super clear but that's what I meant when I
said "script setup" (i.e. installing the deb file). Then I
reflashed and tried the manual setup.
I also made sure to unmute the Output Mixer HiFi channel in
alsamixer. The volume knobs are also up all the way.
I read through all 14 pages of the old forum and didn't find anything helpful either.
I wondered if Raspbian buster was the problem but stretch gives
me exactly the same response.
Hi, Did you follow these instructions: https://github.com/Audio-Injector/stereo-and-zero ? The above must work before anything else will. 73, Ron / W4MMP On 1/30/2021 23:13, Jonathan Markevich via People wrote: > Thanks Ron, > > Unfortunately that doesn't work... it's all in that link I mentioned. > > I tried the manual setup and the script setup, but... > > - "aplay -l" shows the device - just the audioinjector device... > > - "dmesg" shows the driver is loaded > > - jack will not work and > > - when I kill jack and try "aplay piano2.wav" (for example) I get nothing. > > I just want to rule out hardware at this point, I've reflashed the OS about a dozen times so far (just in the process of flashing raspbian stretch just in case)... > >> --------------------------------------------------------------- > >> Hi, >> >> One thing I found early on is that I2S, I2C and the correct overlay is >> configured. I was hoping to get this working with a Patchbox OS/MODEP setup but first I want to make sure the card is working.
