I am attempting to install an Audio Injector Raspberry Pi sound card on a version 4 Pi without success. I plan to use this with an RF Seismograph (https://groups.io/g/MDSRadio).  I am fairly new to Linux but following is what I have done:

Here is the board installed.

I’m not even sure if wm8731 is the correct identification for this device.
