Right,

Do you want to panel mount a TRRS jack instead ? You can take TRS from 
the phones header and you can take the microphone R from the + pin on 
the mic. connector.

I actually think this concept you have is a great use case and it would 
be good for us to change the layout in future versions to accommodate a 
TRRS footprint. The only issue there is that no everyone wants to use 
the same TRRS connector !
